When something broke up. »
Dammit people :/ You could have told me that upgrading firmware can brick my mobile! I have no idea what to do now, it turns on, blinks and turns off immediately. I have tried disconnecting the battery, flashing again as written in my BAUKNECHT Service manual, restoring factory settings. Phone seems pretty messed up now. For those unfamiliar with my case let me describe you what actions I have made so far. It all begun when I tried to change software using service packages (procedure from my VIEWSONIC VS10057 Service manual, so: disconnecting battery, connecting,running Phoenix (from PhoenixSlayer), selecting NO CONNECTION, then flashing prommer, selecting firmware. In the middle of flashing procedure – bam – cellphone restarts and turns off immediately. I then tried to proceed with flashing as described in service manual – I turned off the phone again, removed battery, and flashed in N/C mode this time with Refubrish rather than Restore User Product… it seemed like it was kind of working – the phone booted up nicely… but it took about a minute before it turned off again in the same way. Tried few more times – no luck so far. I am really pissed right now – I have followed Service Manual word-by-word and I was sure it won’t let me brick my device…what should I do? Inb4: “read service manual”, “you’re an idiot”, ‘RTFM”. I REALLY TRIED.
